和食器のおもてなし / best serve with Japanese pottery

友人の家にお呼ばれ。昔から仲間うちで評判の彼女の料理は、いつも本当に美味しい。

そして年々、見た目にもぐっと磨きがかかっている。ここ数年は和食器が好きらしく、素敵な小皿が取り皿として続々と提供される。沢山揃えるのではなくあえて2枚ずつ揃えているそうだが、その集め方がまたいい。料理もさることながら、こういうおもてなしも覚えたいなぁ。

 

One of my friends invited us to her house and we enjoyed her wonderful dishes with wine.  

She has loved Japanese dishes (pottery) and used them when she served her cooking.  That made her cooking more beautiful.  

I'd like to be matured to host someone in the way like that!
